The True TUC-72-HC~SPEC1 Spec Series® undercounter refrigerator has an extra-large evaporator coil balanced with a high-horsepower compressor and large condenser to maintain a set cabinet temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Because the evaporator fan motors are cast iron and self-lubricating, they can provide low-velocity, high-volume airflow, while the large fan blades are useful for fast temperature recovery and short runtimes in busy kitchens. Optimizing unit function, the condensing fan motor eliminates settled dirt and dust from the condensing coil by reversing for 20 seconds when the compressor cycles on. A clean condensing coil surface enables it to keep products cool without as much energy usage, and it can help lengthen the unit’s lifespan. Though effective, this mechanism is designed to work in tandem with preventive maintenance.

Constructed of stainless steel, the cabinet has coved corners and 5-inch-diameter stem castors with locks on the front set. Designed with a 36-inch work surface height, the cabinet and doors are insulated with high-density polyurethane. To match the cabinet interior, the stainless steel doors on the True TUC-72-HC~SPEC1 refrigerator are lined with clear-coated aluminum. These doors are self-closing to contain cold air and have a 90-degree, stay-open feature to facilitate stocking. Magnetic gaskets line the door frames and can be removed for cleaning. Its six shelves are adjustable in ¹⁄₂-inch increments and include four chrome-plated shelf clips each. Resisting corrosion, these shelves are made of PVC-coated wire and have support pilasters made of stainless steel. For streamlined installation, this unit is completely pre-wired at the factory and ready for final connection.
