For versatile storage, the True TUC-60D-2-HC undercounter refrigerator is a two-section unit built with two drawers and two shelves. The stainless steel drawers are positioned on stainless steel drawer slides and rollers for simple opening and closing. Though each drawer can support one 12-inch-long by 20-inch-deep by 6-inch-tall food pan, different food pan sizes can be stored in the drawer when pan divider bars (sold separately) are incorporated. Beside the drawers, a solid, right-hinged door provides access to the four 27¹⁄₂-inch-wide by 16-inch-deep heavy-duty PVC-coated wire shelves, and to accommodate changing inventory, the shelves can be adjusted in ¹⁄₂-inch increments. Staff can push the door past 90 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure it remains in an open position when products need to be loaded and retrieved.

The unit’s self-contained refrigeration system uses eco-friendly R290 refrigerant to produce and maintain temperatures from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit in the drawers and shelving section. Its electronically commutated (EC) evaporator and condenser fan motors guide a consistent volume of air to minimize heat production and energy consumption while enhancing motor reliability. To retain generated temperatures, the doors, drawers, and cabinet are insulated with high-density polyurethane. For added efficiency, its evaporator is coated in corrosion-resistant epoxy. Operators can access the condensing unit from the back, and to simplify maintenance, it can be pulled out.

For lasting durability through high-volume back-of-house use, the True TUC-60D-2-HC commercial undercounter refrigerator’s front, top, and ends are made of stainless steel, while the steel back is coated with corrosion-resistant GalFan®. The interior’s clear-coated aluminum liner withstands high-volume use, and its stainless steel floor and coved corners simplify cleaning. Sized for compact kitchens, this unit measures 60³⁄₈ inches wide by 31¹⁄₄ inches deep by 36 inches tall. Because it’s positioned on 5-inch-castors, it can be smoothly moved out of the way for cleaning or maintenance.
