For holding perishable items at safe temperatures, the True TS-43-HC reach-in refrigerator produces and maintains temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit with its high-capacity, factory-balanced self-contained refrigeration system. This unit operates with R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant—an environmentally friendly alternative to other refrigerants because of its zero ozone depletion potential and three global warming potential. An exterior temperature display provides an accurate readout of interior temperatures, and to preserve generated temperatures in warm ambient settings, the cabinet and doors are foamed in place with high-density polyurethane insulation. For lasting efficiency, its electronically commutated (EC) evaporator and condenser fan motors move large volumes of air to minimize heat production and reduce energy consumption. Because the condensing unit is bottom mounted, it’s simple to access and frees up storage space on top of the unit.

Vegetables, fruits, dairy products, meat, and other foods requiring refrigeration can be stored on the six 20⁷⁄₈-inch-wide by 22¹⁄₂-inch-deep shelves. These heavy-duty PVC-coated gray wire shelves are positioned on shelf support pilasters and can be adjusted in ¹⁄₂-inch increments to accommodate different products and maximize vertical storage space. LED interior lighting brightens the cabinet so staff have full visibility of contents, and to ease cleaning, the interior and floor are lined with stainless steel.

So the unit can be repositioned for maintenance or cleaning, it’s mounted on 4-inch-diameter castors with locks on the front set.
