To match other back-of-house equipment and provide lasting durability, the True TS-23-2-HC commercial reach-in refrigerator’s doors, front, and sides are constructed of stainless steel, while its steel back is coated with corrosion-resistant GalFan®. Its welded, heavy-duty steel frame rail is black powder coated for corrosion resistance, and to simplify repositioning, the rail is fitted with 4-inch-diameter castors; the front set includes locks. This refrigerator is built with two left-hinged, self-closing, half-size doors featuring 12-inch-long, foamed-in-place recessed handles. For secure closure, they’re fitted with magnetic gaskets that can be removed for cleaning as needed. After business hours, the doors can be locked to deter theft and tampering.
The interior of this 27-inch-wide by 291⁄2-inch-deep by 833⁄8-inch-tall unit boasts a corrosion- and rust-resistant stainless steel liner and floor, easing cleaning. Three adjustable, heavy-duty PVC-coated gray wire shelves line the interior, and they’re supported on pilasters that can be adjusted in 1⁄2-inch increments to maximize vertical storage space. To accommodate a range of products, each shelf measures 227⁄8 inches wide by 231⁄4 inches deep. Safety-shielded lighting illuminates the interior so staff can quickly identify inventory, and to conserve energy, the lights are activated by a rocker switch located above the doors.
