The True TS-23-2-HC reach-in refrigerator can hold prepared sauces and dressings, vegetables, dairy products, and other perishable items at temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. An exterior solar digital temperature display provides an accurate readout of interior temperatures so operators can monitor temperatures and ensure contents are being held safely. To retain generated temperatures, the cabinet and doors are foamed in place with high-density polyurethane insulation. Its self-contained refrigeration system operates with eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and features electronically commutated (EC) evaporator fan motors that move a large volume of air to reduce heat production and energy usage while enhancing motor reliability. Because the condensing unit is bottom mounted, maintenance access is simple and storage space on top of the unit is maximized.

To match other back-of-house equipment and provide lasting durability, the True TS-23-2-HC commercial reach-in refrigerator’s doors, front, and sides are constructed of stainless steel, while its steel back is coated with corrosion-resistant GalFan®. Its welded, heavy-duty steel frame rail is black powder coated for corrosion resistance, and to simplify repositioning, the rail is fitted with 4-inch-diameter castors; the front set includes locks. This refrigerator is built with two left-hinged, self-closing, half-size doors featuring 12-inch-long, foamed-in-place recessed handles. For secure closure, they’re fitted with magnetic gaskets that can be removed for cleaning as needed. After business hours, the doors can be locked to deter theft and tampering.

The interior of this 27-inch-wide by 29¹⁄₂-inch-deep by 83³⁄₈-inch-tall unit boasts a corrosion- and rust-resistant stainless steel liner and floor, easing cleaning. Three adjustable, heavy-duty PVC-coated gray wire shelves line the interior, and they’re supported on pilasters that can be adjusted in ¹⁄₂-inch increments to maximize vertical storage space. To accommodate a range of products, each shelf measures 22⁷⁄₈ inches wide by 23¹⁄₄ inches deep. Safety-shielded lighting illuminates the interior so staff can quickly identify inventory, and to conserve energy, the lights are activated by a rocker switch located above the doors.
