Because the True T-35-HC reach-in refrigerator’s refrigeration system is bottom mounted, it’s easy to access for maintenance while opening up storage space on top of the unit. This system uses environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to produce temperatures from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, which can be monitored using the exterior temperature display. The electronically commutated (EC) condenser and fan motors move a consistent volume of air to minimize energy usage and heat production. For lasting efficiency, the evaporator is coated with corrosion-resistant epoxy. By using RCU technology, this unit’s fan motors automatically reverses direction for 20 seconds when the compressor starts up to eliminate dust, dirt, and debris from the condensing coil. Although this mechanism is effective, it shouldn’t replace preventive maintenance.
