Producing as much as 333 pounds daily, the Koolaire KDT0300A/K570 ice maker with bin makes full-cube ice. These cubes are large and square, ideal for drinks in bars and restaurants. Its condenser uses fans to blow cold air over the refrigerant coils, cooling them so they can cool the evaporator plate. Through this process, water running over the plate freezes and forms ice.
The ice machine’s food zone, the area with parts that encounter ice and water, has corrosion-resistant plastic components. Since these components are white, users can see when cleaning is needed, and some of the parts in this area are removable to facilitate cleaning.
With a foam-insulated door, the bin retains cold air and reduces condensation buildup, while the door has a stay-open design that simplifies scooping. An ice scoop can be stored in the holder inside the bin, keeping it out of the ice to prevent contamination. So users can clean underneath the unit, the bin’s legs elevate it off the floor. This Koolaire KDT0300A/K570 ice machine head with bin has a stainless steel-like finish on the exterior, providing corrosion resistance and reducing smudging.
