The sides of the unit can be removed for attachment with others for an endless design. Overall, the cabinet measures 75 inches wide by 34¹/₂ inches deep by 44 inches high and is painted a neutral white. The front and side trim are made of curved plexiglass.

Mounted within the Howard-McCray SC-OS35E-6C-S impulse merchandiser is its self-contained refrigeration system. This system works to reach holding temperature as dictated by the electronic controller’s input setting, ranging from 36 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. A high-efficiency air screen flows above the product display to maintain cool internal conditions. The defrost system functions automatically six times a day to prevent ice development.
