Using the Hoshizaki KMD-860MAJ ice maker, operators can make as much as 855 pounds of ice in a single day with optimal conditions. Because its condenser is self-contained and air cooled, this ice maker is convenient to install, and most establishments can accommodate its requirements. For ideal operation, this unit requires 6 inches of clearance around its sides and top.

The Hoshizaki KMD-860MAJ ice machine head makes crescent cube ice with a high ice-to-water ratio, making it great for cooling glasses of soft drinks and blending into smoothies. This machine is equipped with H-Guard Plus® antimicrobial agent, which inhibits the growth of mildew so ice doesn’t take on an unpleasant flavor.
