The Hoshizaki FD-650MAJ-C ice maker head produces cubelet ice, also known as nugget ice, which is a popular choice for chewing and snacking. This machine produces a maximum of 634 pounds of ice a day under optimal conditions, plenty to keep up with a standard flow of customers. It’s finished in stainless steel to provide durability, rust and corrosion resistance, and longevity. Flushing and cleaning cycles purge the head’s interior to keep cube water as pure as possible.
Because of the greaseless bearing, the Hoshizaki FD-650MAJ-C nugget ice machine head requires minimal maintenance for operation, and the auger is made of stainless steel to resist rust and corrosion. To slow the growth of bacteria, it’s protected with H-GUARD Plus® antimicrobial, reducing the spread of germs in a crowded environment. This unit doesn’t come with a bin, so for use, one must be purchased individually. Overall, it measures 22 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 26 inches high.
