The Frosty Factory 117A frozen drink machine has a 12-quart-capacity hopper and 31⁄2-quart-capacity cylinder. Product from the hopper moves into the cylinder every time a drink is made to keep this section full. In an hour, the unit can produce (115) 10-ounce drinks. An illuminated sign sits above the cylinder, attracting customers to increase impulse sales. Because the beverage machine is air cooled, it is simple to install but requires clearances at the sides and rear; these are needed so air can flow in through the back and exhaust out the sides.
