Designed to bring safety-focused power into kitchens and bakeries, the Univex SRM30+-WHT planetary mixer produces large batches of food throughout its lifespan. With a 30-quart capacity, this machine can be used to mix commercial orders of icing or create homemade salad dressings. The hook, beater, and whip that come with this machine move in a planetary motion, suiting most mixing needs encountered in the kitchen; this mixer comes with a detachable SwingRing safety guard to promote user protection.
The Univex SRM30+-WHT mixer has a large size and must be installed on the ground for optimal safety and security. To grant enough energy and power throughout its lifespan, this mixer showcases a 1-horsepower motor and dependable gear-driven transmission. Because this piece of machinery operates using gears, it offers four variable speeds marked through notches and doesn’t require the power to be shut off to change them. Considering there are additional paces found in between the notches, this mixer is optimal for a wide variety of uses and comes with a 15-minute timer to aid in time management. A hand crank is located on the side of the machine, raising and lowering the mixing bowl after locking into place. Interlock switches are included in the design to shut off power in cases of accidental bumping. When purchasing this style, it’s important to keep in mind that noise and the cost of repairs may increase compared to belt-driven models, though the durability heightens as well. To facilitate cleaning, most attachments are dishwasher safe, and the machine itself is finished with an epoxy-polyester powder coat for a simplified clean.
