The True TUC-27G-HC~SPEC1 Spec Series® undercounter refrigerator maintains a set cabinet temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, while air is guided around the interior to create uniform product temperatures. To simplify maintenance, the condensing unit can be accessed from the back. Its capillary tube system is self-contained, and its fan motors are electronically commutated, producing less heat, reducing energy consumption, and providing greater motor reliability than traditional motors. It runs with environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.

Optimizing performance as well as reducing energy consumption, the compressor’s fan motor helps keep the condensing coil clean. Each time the compressor cycles on, the fan runs in reverse to blow dirt and buildup off the coil. This self-cleaning feature reduces labor and lengthens the unit’s lifespan, but it isn’t designed to replace routine preventive maintenance.

For durability, the True TUC-27G-HC~SPEC1 undercounter refrigerator is made of stainless steel inside and out, while two interior shelves are coated in PVC for strength and corrosion resistance. These shelves are also adjustable in ¹⁄₂-inch increments using shelf clips. When cleaning, employees can remove the shelves and wipe out the rounded corners in the floor, and the heavy-duty top is able to support equipment or provide additional workspace.
