The True TUC-36-HC-LP undercounter refrigerator has a temperature range from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and operators can set the unit to run at any level between these numbers. Regulated by the capillary tube system, R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant—which is better for the environment than traditional options—cools the interior. Its condensing unit has a slide-out design, providing convenient access at the back of the unit.

The compressor’s fan motor employs a self-cleaning mechanism to keep the condensing coil free of settled dust and dirt. Each time the compressor cycles on, the fan blows air in reverse for 20 seconds to blow buildup off the coil. Intended to be paired with routine preventative maintenance, this feature lengthens the unit’s lifespan and improves overall performance.

Designed to fit under short countertops, this unit has a low-profile height, and swivel castors are mounted on the bottom for mobility around the kitchen. In the True TUC-36-HC-LP undercounter refrigerator, four corrosion-resistant, PVC-coated shelves hold stored items. The exterior is mostly made of stainless steel to withstand heavy use and resist rusting, while the interior is constructed of aluminum with a stainless steel floor that eases cleaning. Because the corners in the floor are coved, they will not trap and harbor debris. The doors self-close to retain cold air, and past 90 degrees, they stay open so users can load and unload product.
