Fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and meat can be stored in the True TUC-48-HC undercounter refrigerator, which produces temperatures from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Its self-contained capillary-tube refrigeration system operates with environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant and uses guided airflow to generate uniform temperatures. To minimize heat production and energy consumption, its electronically commutated (EC) evaporator and condenser fan motors move a consistent volume of air. The cabinet and doors are foamed in place with high-density polyurethane insulation to preserve generated temperatures, and for lasting efficiency, its evaporator is coated with corrosion-resistant epoxy. Users can access the slide-out condensing unit from the back of the cabinet.

To maximize space in compact kitchens, the True TUC-48-HC commercial undercounter refrigerator measures 48³⁄₈ inches wide by 31¹⁄₈ inches deep by 36 inches tall. While its front, top, and ends are made of durable stainless steel, the steel back is coated with GalFan® for lasting corrosion resistance. While the interior is lined with clear-coated aluminum, the stainless steel floor’s coved corners simplify cleaning. So the unit can be wheeled out of the way as needed, it’s built with 5-inch-diameter castors that provide smooth mobility.

The two solid right-hinged stainless steel doors ensure users can access one of the unit’s two sections. These self-closing doors feature 12-inch-long recessed handles that are foamed in place, and when opened past 90 degrees, they stay propped so staff can load and retrieve product without holding the doors open. The unit’s interior features four 21⁹⁄₁₆-inch-wide by 16-inch-deep heavy-duty PVC-coated shelves that can be raised and lowered in ¹⁄₂-inch increments to accommodate changing inventory.
