Temperatures in the True TUC-24G-HC~FGD01 undercounter refrigerator range from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit and can be set by the operator. In the unit, R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant runs through the capillary tube system to cool the contents. Then, evaporator and condenser fans consistently move air through the cabinet, eliminating hot spots. To improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption, the compressor’s fan motor automatically removes dust and debris off the condensing coil. Upon each start up, it blows away dirt by running in reverse for 20 seconds. This feature prolongs the lifespan of the unit, but routine preventive maintenance will still be required.

Products sit on the floor and two adjustable shelves with an open design, enabling air to flow through the wires and around products, so all items are cooled evenly. For visibility, LED lighting shines in the interior, and the door contains two panes of thermal glass. Its left-hinged door swings open with a handle on the right and closes on its own, while magnetic gaskets in the door frame ensure it seals shut.

To withstand high-volume applications, the True TUC-24G-HC~FGD01 undercounter refrigerator has an aluminum interior liner and a stainless steel floor, which has coved corners for quick cleanup. The shelves can be removed and wiped down, while most of the exterior is constructed of stainless steel with a corrosion-resistant, GalFan-coated back. Mounted on the unit, four recessed, stationary castors provide mobility, and leg levelers are also included for stability.
