The True TUC-24F-HC undercounter freezer has a stainless steel top, sides, and front for heavy use. Its back is finished in aluminum, and its interior is lined with clear-coat aluminum to resist corrosion. With its coved corners preventing debris from getting stuck, the stainless steel floor simplifies cleaning, and product sits on two adjustable, PVC-coated wire shelves. To access products, the left-hinged door has a 12-inch, permanent handle while cold air is held inside the cabinet with magnetic gaskets.

The capillary tube system controls the flow of R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which maintains an ideal temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit for storing frozen food and ice cream. Resisting corrosion, the evaporator is epoxy coated while condenser and evaporator fan motors move a consistent volume of air, ensuring the entire unit is cooled evenly. Its defrost system is automatic, turning on at a designated time, and the True TUC-24F-HC undercounter freezer has a rear-accessible condensing unit.

Each time the compressor turns on, the condensing fan motor directs air in an opposite direction to help remove buildup from the condensing coil’s surface. A well-maintained coil can keep products cooler for longer periods of time while using less energy. This mechanism should work alongside general preventive maintenance to ensure the coil and its components are working properly.
