Durable and resistant to corrosion, the True TUC-24-HC~SPEC1 undercounter refrigerator is made of quick-cleaning stainless steel. Its coved corners prevent debris from getting trapped in the interior by eliminating crevices, and it features a left-hinged door with a durable metal handle on its right side. Magnetic gaskets create a seal around the door to prevent cold-air leaks and can be removed without tools. A lock on the door prevents unauthorized users from tampering with stored items.

This refrigerator maintains cold temperatures with R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which is more eco-friendly than traditional options. Temperatures range between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and operators can check them on the external digital display. Airflow in the cabinet is efficiently guided so that stored items are cooled without producing much heat or energy. The compressor’s fan motor reverses automatically for 20 seconds upon start up to blow dust off of the condenser coil; this helps prevent buildup and reduces energy consumption. Although routine preventive maintenance will still be necessary, this self-cleaning feature improves performance as well as efficiency.
